The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, to consider the possible commutation of sentence of Juan Ramon Sanchez-Contreras, #637386. It will be at 9:00 a.m. at the Handlon, Richard A. Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.
Juan Ramon Sanchez-Contreras is serving a term of 5y-20y for the crime of Possession with Intent to Deliver 50-449 Grams of Cocaine. He is also serving a 2y-7y sentence for the crime of Manufacture and Delivery of 5-45 Kilograms of Marijuana. He was sentenced on March 19, 2007 from Saginaw County.
The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board.
