The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 to consider the possible parole of Freddie Marshall, #204496. It will be at 11:00 a.m. at the Handlon Training Center, Richard Handlon Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.
Freddie Marshall is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Delivery of Over 650 Grams of Cocaine. He was sentenced on October 17, 1989 from Wayne County.
Barbara Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.
By Statute, prisoners serving a life sentence under MCL 333.74012A1, must serve 15, 17 1/2 or 20 calendar years, based on predetermined factors, before the parole and commutation board can obtain jurisdiction.
