The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, December 7, 2009 to consider the possible parole of Geronimo Sanchez, #239290. It will be at 11:00 a.m. at the Handlon Training Center, Richard Handlon Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.
Geronimo Sanchez is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Conspiracy to Manufacture and Deliver Over 650 Grams of Cocaine. He was sentenced on September 14, 1994 from Oakland County.
Barbara Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.
By Statute, prisoners serving a life sentence under MCL 333.74012A1, must serve 15, 17 1/2 or 20 calendar years, based on predetermined factors, before the parole and commutation board can obtain jurisdiction.
