The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 19, 2010, to consider the possible commutation of sentence for James Willie Armstrong, #109170. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the T-100 Training Center, G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility, Jackson, Michigan.

James Willie Armstrong is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Murder 1st Degree. He was sentenced on January 28, 1963 from Genesee County. He is also serving a term of 6m-5y for the crime of Escape Prison. He was sentenced on April 20, 1983 from Jackson County.

The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board.
