A public hearing to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Fred Stewart, III

The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 13, 2010, to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Fred Stewart, III. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the Handlon, Richard A. Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.
Fred Stewart was sentenced to a term of 2 years probation and $250 in Fines/Costs/Restitution for the crime of Breaking and Entering at Night. He was sentenced on July 16, 1951, from Berrien County.
Barbara S. Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole and Commutation Board.
This hearing is required by state law prior to consideration of any pardon by the Governor.
