A public hearing to consider the possible commutation of sentence of Frank Hampton, III

The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, to consider the possible commutation of sentence of Frank Hampton, III.  It will be at 9:00 a.m. at the Handlon, Richard A. Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.

Frank Hampton is serving a term of 20y-30y for the crime of Possession With Intent to Deliver 225-665 Grams of Cocaine, a term of 13y4m-20y for the crime of Possession With Intent to Deliver Less Than 50 Grams of Cocaine and a term of 2y-4y for the crime of Resisting and Obstructing a Police Officer.  He was sentenced on January 28, 1998 from Jackson County.

The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board.
