The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, to consider the possible commutation of sentence of Daryl McCurtis, #122003. It will be at 11:00 a.m. at the Handlon, Richard A. Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.
Daryl McCurtis is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Murder 2nd Degree. He was sentenced on January 22, 1969 from Wayne County. He is also serving a term of 3y-5y for the crime of Transport Contraband Into Prison. He was sentenced on January 20, 1988 from Muskegon County.
The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board.
