A public hearing to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Patrick J. Grabowski

The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 14, 2010, to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Patrick J. Grabowski.  It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the Grandview Plaza Building, Lansing, MI.

Patrick J. Grabowski was sentenced to a term of 4 years probation, $150 F/C/R (Fines/Cost/Restitution), 6 months jail (Probation revoked and sentenced to 1 year jail on February 14, 1979) for the crime of Unlawfully Driving Away an Automobile, to a term of 1 year jail for the crime of Attempted Breaking and Entering Occupied Dwelling, to a term of  4 years-14 years for the crime of Uttering and Publishing, and to a term of 1 year jail for the crime of Prison Escape. He was sentenced on December 27, 1976, February 14, 1978, June 18, 1979 and January 26, 1982 from St. Clair County.

Barbara S. Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole and Commutation Board.

This hearing is required by state law prior to consideration of any pardon by the Governor.
