The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, June 17, 2010, to consider the possible commutation of sentence of Daniel Lungu, #453503. It will be at 11:00 a.m. at the Handlon, Richard A. Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.
Daniel Lungu is serving a term of 4y-20y for the crime of Conducting a Criminal Enterprise. He was sentenced on March 14, 2008 from Wayne County. He is also serving a term of 3y4m-10y for the crime of Larceny By Conversion-$20,000 or More and a term of 3y4m-5y for the crime of Larceny From a Motor Vehicle. Mr. Lungu was sentenced on April 23, 2008 from Oakland County.
The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board.
