The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 21, 2010 , to consider the possible commutation of sentence for John W. Getten, #183011. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the Duane Waters Health Center, Jackson, Michigan.
John W. Getten is serving a term of 25y-50y for the crime of 4th Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery; to a term of 25y-50y for the crime of 4th Assault With Intent to Rob While Armed and to a term of 25-50y (8 Counts) for the crime of 4th Armed Robbery (8 Counts). He was sentenced on February 28, 1994 from Oakland County.
The hearing is required under MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board.
