The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 to consider the possible parole of Arthur J. Webermin, #216089. It will be at 11:00 a.m. at the Handlon Training Center, Richard Handlon Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.
Arthur J. Webermin is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Conspiracy to Deliver or Manufacture 650 Grams or More of Cocaine. He was sentenced on April 11, 1991from Wayne County.
Barbara Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.
By Statute, prisoners serving a life sentence under MCL 333.74012A1, must serve 15, 17 ½ or 20 calendar years, based on predetermined factors, before the Parole and Commutation Board obtain jurisdiction.
