The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 19, 2010, to consider the possible pardon of sentence for JeDonna L. Young. It will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Grandview Plaza Building, Lansing, Michigan.
JeDonna Young was sentenced to a Life sentence for the crime of Possession With Intent to Deliver Over 650 Grams of Heroin. She was sentenced on October 11, 1979 from Wayne County.
Barbara S. Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole and Commutation Board.
This hearing is required by state law prior to consideration of any pardon by the Governor.
