The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, December 13, 2010 to consider the possible parole of Perry E. Coleman, #236687. It will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Richard A. Handlon Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.
Perry E. Coleman is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Conspiracy to Deliver/Manufacture 650 Grams or More of Cocaine. He was sentenced on March 23, 1994 from Oakland County.
Barbara Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.
By Statute, prisoners serving a life sentence under MCL 333.74012A1, must serve 15, 17 1/2 or 20 calendar years, based on predetermined factors, before the Parole and Commutation Board can obtain jurisdiction.
