A public hearing to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Matthew Richard Hayes

The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 21, 2010, to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Matthew Richard Hayes.  It will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Grandview Plaza Building, Lansing, MI.

Matthew Richard Hayes was sentenced to 1 day in jail and $1,500 in F/C/R (Fines/Costs/Restitution) for the crime of Operate While Visibly Impaired. He was sentenced on March 17, 2010 from Isabella County.

Barbara S. Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole and Commutation Board.

This hearing is required by state law prior to consideration of any pardon by the Governor.
