The Michigan Parole and Commutation Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 to consider the possible parole of Roberto Rodriguez, #245255. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the Richard A. Handlon Correctional Facility, Ionia, MI.
Roberto Rodriguez is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Possession With Intent to Deliver Cocaine Over 650 Grams. He was sentenced on September 8, 1995 from Wayne County.
Barbara Sampson, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole and Commutation Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.
By statute, prisoners serving a Life sentence under MCL 333.74012A1, must serve 15, 17 ½, or 20 calendar years, based on predetermined factors, before the Parole and Commutation Board can obtain jurisdiction.
