A public hearing to consider the possible pardon of sentence for John Joseph Zubkoff

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 26, 2013, to consider the possible pardon of sentence for John Joseph Zubkoff. It will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Grandview Plaza Building, Lansing, Michigan.
John Joseph Zubkoff was sentenced to a term of one (1) year jail, five (5) years probation, fines/costs/restitution of $3,578 for the crime of Breaking & Entering a Building with Intent, and to a term of one (1) year jail, five (5) years probation, fines/costs/restitution of $450 for the crime of Breaking & Entering a Building with Intent. He was sentenced on December 10, 1987 from Monroe County.
Thomas R. Combs, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.
This hearing is required by state law prior to consideration of any pardon by the Governor.
