A public hearing to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Lonnie Edward Adkins

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Lonnie Edward Adkins. It will be held at 9:30 a.m. at the Grandview Plaza Building, Lansing, Michigan.
Lonnie Edward Adkins was sentenced to a term of one (1) year probation, fines/costs/restitution of $300 for the crime of Weapons - Carrying Concealed, and to a term of one (1) year probation, fines/ costs/restitution of $300 for the crime of Retail Fraud 1st Degree (Habitual 2nd). He was sentenced on December 5, 1994 and June 26, 1997 from Oakland County.
Mr. Adkins was also sentenced to a term of one (1) year probation, fines/costs/restitution of $300 for the crime of Open Intoxicants in Vehicle. He was sentenced on February 19, 2002 from Macomb County.
Thomas R. Combs, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.
This hearing is required by state law prior to consideration of any pardon by the Governor.
