The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 20, 2014 to consider the possible parole of Raul David, #250049. It will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Handlon Training Center; Richard A. Handlon Correctional Facility in Ionia, Michigan.
Raul David is serving two concurrent Life sentences for Conspiracy to Deliver/Manufacture 650 Grams or More of Cocaine and Deliver/Manufacture 650 Grams or More of Cocaine. He was sentenced on May 30, 1996 out of Oakland County.
Thomas R. Combs, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.
By statute, prisoners serving a life sentence under MCL 333.74012A1, must serve 15, 17 1/2 or 20 calendar years, based on predetermined factors, before the Parole Board can obtain jurisdiction.
