The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 to consider the possible parole of Walter Moore, #300540. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the T-100 Training Center; G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility in Jackson, Michigan.
Walter Moore is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Conspiracy to Deliver/Manufacture 650 or more grams of Cocaine. He was sentenced on December 15, 1999 out of Oakland County.
Abigail C. Callejas and Anthony E.O. King, Members of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.
By Statute, prisoners serving a Life sentence under MCL 333.74012A1, must serve 15, 17 1/2 or 20 calendar years, based on predetermined factors, before the parole board can obtain jurisdiction.
