The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 17, 2017 to consider the possible parole of Randy Smith, #211994. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the T-100 Training Center; G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility in Jackson, Michigan.
Randy Smith is serving a Life sentence for the crime of Murder 2nd Degree. He was sentenced on September 28, 1990 out of Wayne County.
Michigan Parole Board Member Edwin M. Heap and Chairperson Michael C. Eagen will conduct the hearing under the provisions of the Lifer Law, MCLA 791.234.

The Michigan Department of Corrections harvested over 100,000 pounds of fresh food through various horticulture training programs and recreational gardens.
The Northern Region John Davids Recruit Academy Class graduation took place on Nov. 20 at Lake Superior State University and recognized 48 new officers. The class is the largest northern region academy to graduate since 2016. New officers will help to reduce vacancies at facilities across the Upper Peninsula.
