A public hearing to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Atheer Gappi

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 15, 2018 to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Atheer Gappi. It will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Constitution Hall, Lansing, Michigan.
Atheer Gappi was sentenced to a term of 8 years - 20 years for the crime of Controlled Substance - Deliver/Manufacture Cocaine, Heroin or Another Narcotic - 50-449 grams. He was sentenced on October 27, 1992 from Oakland County.
Michael C. Eagen, Chairperson of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.
This hearing is required by state law prior to consideration of any pardon by the Governor.
