The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Jennifer (Coviak) Moss. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the Grandview Plaza Building, Lansing, Michigan.
Jennifer (Coviak) Moss was sentenced to a term of Standard Probation, Common Ground Homebound Services, Jail Tour, and $300 F/C/R (Fines/Costs/Restitution) for the crime of False Report of a Felony, and to a term of Standard Probation, Common Ground Homebound Services, Jail Tour, and $300 F/C/R (Fines/Costs/Restitution) for the crime of Financial Transation Device-Illegal Sale/Use. She was sentenced on November 25, 2002 from Oakland County.
Barbara S. Sampson, Member of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.
This hearing is required by state law prior to consideration of any pardon by the Governor.

The Northern Region John Davids Recruit Academy Class graduation took place on Nov. 20 at Lake Superior State University and recognized 48 new officers. The class is the largest northern region academy to graduate since 2016. New officers will help to reduce vacancies at facilities across the Upper Peninsula.
