The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 to consider the possible commutation of sentence for James Hicks, #134423. It will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Handlon Michigan Training Center; Richard A. Handlon Correctional Facility in Ionia, Michigan.
James Hicks was sentenced to three terms of 50 Years to 200 Years for the crime of Assault with Intent to Rob While Armed (three counts). He was sentenced on December 9, 1986 out of Muskegon County.
Barbara S. Sampson, Member of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.
