The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 2, 2018 to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Rafael DeJesus, #235982. It will be held at 9:00 a.m. at the Handlon Michigan Training Center; Richard A. Handlon Correctional Facility in Ionia, Michigan.
Rafael DeJesus was sentenced to a term of 10 years to 20 years for the crime of Delivery of Cocaine Over 50 Grams, 10 years to 20 years for the crime of Conspiracy to Deliver Cocaine Over 50 Grams, 20 years to 30 years for the crime of Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine Over 225 Grams but Less Than 650 Grams, and 20 years to 30 years for the crime of Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Deliver Cocaine Over 225 Grams but Less Than 650 Grams. He was sentenced on February 28, 1994 out of Kent County.
Sonia A. Warchock, Member of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.
