The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 9:00 am to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Jimmy Burden, #135252. The hearing will be conducted via video through Microsoft Teams and can be accessed by clicking HERE

Those planning to access the hearing must call 517-335-1736 no later than September 27, 2022, to confirm attendance.

Jimmy Burden was sentenced to two terms of 60 years to 100 years for the crime of Robbery Armed (two counts). Jimmy Burden was sentenced on October 14, 1983, out of Wayne County. 

Edwin M. Heap, Member of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.224 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.
