A public hearing to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Lu Le

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Lu Le. The hearing will be conducted via video through Microsoft Teams.
Those planning to access the hearing must complete the online registration form no later than June 25, 2024. Instructions for accessing the public hearing can be found here.
Lu Le was sentenced to a term of 18 months probation, $525 F/C/R (Fines/Costs/Restitution) for the crime of Attempt Larceny from a Motor Vehicle; and to a term of 12 months probation for the crime of Attempt Unemployment Fraud. Lu Le was sentenced on October 11, 2001, and January 2, 2014, out of Kent County.
Anthony E. O. King, Member of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.
This hearing is required by state law prior to consideration of any pardon by the Governor.
