A public hearing to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Kenyatta Johnson, #862725

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Kenyatta Johnson, #862725. The hearing will be conducted via video using Microsoft Teams.

Kenyatta Johnson was sentenced to a term of 19 years to 40 years for the crime of Robbery Armed and 1 year, 6 months to 4 years for the crime of Assault with Dangerous Weapon (Felonious Assault). Kenyatta Johnson was sentenced on April 24, 2013, out of Oakland County. 

Colin Riehl, Member of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.
