Major General Michael Stone is an Innovator of the Year finalist in 2018 Governor's Energy Excellence Awards
Twenty-one businesses, organizations and individuals from across the state have been selected as finalists for the 2018 Governor's Energry Excellence Awards, which recognize people and organizations in Michigan that have taken firm, meaningful actions to improve energy efficiency.
Nominations were made in eight different categories that underline the diversity of Michigan's most cutting-edge energy-efficient projects. Award winners, which span from individual residents to the manufacturing industry and the Michigan National Guard, will be announced at an event in September.
Major General Michael Stone, the Michigan National Guard Assistant Adjutant General - Installations, is a finalist in the Innovator of the Year category.
