We are extremely excited to host our third annual Michigan Military & Veterans Gala celebrating the accomplishments of Michigan National Guard Soldiers and Airmen, veterans and advocates who answered the call to serve from their state and nation,” said U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Paul D. Rogers, adjutant general and director of the Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. “The gala will also pay tribute to our military families and caregivers for their ongoing support of our service members and their missions.”
Adam Hollier, director of the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency, said the gala is a time to recognize Michigan veterans and their families leading up to Veterans Day on Nov. 11.
This is a celebration of our state’s veterans, their accomplishments and the proud history they helped build here in Michigan, domestically and overseas,” Hollier said. “We also honor all of the volunteers, family members and providers who proudly advocate and care for our veterans after their service ends.
