U.S. Army National Guard Prepares to Take Additional Action under CERCLA to Address PFAS in Grayling Private Drinking Water Wells
August 20, 2024
Personnel from the ARNG along with representatives from local and state health departments visited Grayling on August 20 to distribute notification letters of test results along with bottled water to homes that have been found to exceed the new MCL.
The ARNG stands firmly on taking immediate action, aggressively and holistically, while coordinating efforts with Michigan’s local and state offices. For additional information about the Department of Defense’s continued commitment to addressing its PFAS releases, please visit Department of Defense PFAS. Additional information can be found at EPA’s website, Environmental Protection Agency PFAS.
