Michigan Army National Guard 3rd Battalion, 238th Aviation Regiment to Hold Departure Ceremony

LANSING, Mich. — Approximately 100 Soldiers assigned to the Michigan Army National Guard’s (MIARNG) 3rd Battalion (General Support), 238th Aviation Regiment, (3-238th GSAB), based out of Grand Ledge, will gather with their families and invited guests at the Grand Ledge Armory as they prepare to depart for their deployment to Kosovo in support of U.S. European Command (EUCOM). The Soldiers are joining the NATO-led Kosovo Force (KFOR) operation, which aims to maintain a safe and secure environment in the region, and are anticipated to be deployed for up to a year. The unit’s last deployment was in 2020 to Kosovo in support of KFOR Operation Joint Guardian.
