EPA Order Requirements with Searchable EGLE (DEQ) Reports to EPA

Compliance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) January 21, 2016, Emergency Order (Order) is of critical importance to the State as it works with all levels of government to ensure the people of Flint have access to safe, clean drinking water.

A requirement of the Order is that all reports (including status reports), sampling results, plans, and any other documentation provided under the Order be posted to the Flint Water website without "personally identifiable information."

In compliance with this EPA requirement, personally identifiable information - such as names, addresses and titles -- has been redacted from documents on this site. However, to ensure the EPA has the information needed to properly address the Flint water emergency, complete reports with all collected information have been submitted directly to the EPA by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ).
