Michigan Invasive Species Grant Program (MISGP)
This program is designed to address strategic issues of prevention, detection, eradication and control for both terrestrial and aquatic invasive species in Michigan. Projects must support the overall goals of the MISGP.
Available to local, state, federal or tribal units of government, non-profit organizations and universities.
Michigan Aquatic Invasive Plant Control Grant Program (AIP)
For eligible applicants for the control or eradication of aquatic invasive plant species in inland lakes.
This grant program was established in 2019 to provide grant funds to eligible applicants for eligible projects undertaking chemical, physical or biological control of aquatic invasive plant species, or a combination of these methods.
Available to legally constituted lake associations or nonprofit, property owner associations, homeowner associations, lake boards, or special assessment districts who currently have an EGLE permit in effect to conduct the control or eradication activities included in the eligible project.
