Zenna Faraj Elhasan is Vice President at The Kresge Foundation. She previously served as the foundation's General Counsel and secretary to the Board of Trustees, where she managed the foundation's legal affairs, supported the development and implementation of foundation policies and practices, advised the Board of Trustees on governance matters, and managed relationships with outside counsel. Before joining The Kresge Foundation, Elhasan served as Corporation Counsel for Wayne County. Earlier in her career, she was a judicial magistrate and director of probation for the 20th District Court in Dearborn Heights. She also was a partner at Allen Brothers, PLLC, where she served as assistant city attorney for the City of Hamtramck. Elhasan is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Detroit Bar Association Foundation, and the Michigan Muslim Bar Association.
