Lansing- T he Michigan Civil Rights Commission will hold a regular business meeting on Monday, January 27 at 2 pm at the University of Detroit Mercy Law School, 651 East Jefferson Avenue, Room 226, in Detroit.

During this meeting, Commissioners will hear from David C. Koelsch, Associate Professor and Director of the Immigration Law Clinic at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, and Steve Tobocman, Director of Global Detroit, who will deliver presentations on immigration and discuss the civil rights implications of the issue.

Those who wish to address the Commission on civil rights issues can speak during the public comment period at the end of the meeting.

The meeting location is accessible. Parking is in the Student Lot on Larned, across from the Law School, and accessible parking is available on Larned at the building entrance.
