This forum will be held in person.

The Michigan Civil Rights Commission is holding a public forum on Sunday, July 16, 2023, beginning at 3:30 PM. During the forum, the Commission wants to hear about conditions faced by Michigan's migrant and seasonal farmworkers. 

The forum will be held at the Van Buren Conference Center, 490 S. Paw Paw Street, Lawrence, MI 49064.

The Commission encourages public comment from farmworkers, farmers/growers and service providers.

Spanish language and Sign language interpreters will be available. If you plan to attend and need accommodations to do so, please contact Shawn Sanford at MDCR-INFO@michigan.gov.

The meeting location is accessible and free parking is available nearby.
