MDCR investigates complaints to determine whether unlawful discrimination has occurred. While investigating a complaint, MDCR is impartial and does not act as an advocate or representative for either party.
The Managing Attorney and MDCR staff attorneys serve as legal advisors to all MDCR organizational units.

Monday, October 21, 2024, 10:00 AM
Pursuant to the Michigan Open Meetings Act, as amended, the Michigan Civil Rights Commission will convene a regular quarterly business meeting on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 10:00 AM at APlex, West Ballroom, 701 Woodward Ave., Alpena, MI 49707. The meeting will also be broadcast via our Facebook page at facebook.com/micivilrights.
The meeting will include an in-person public comment period.
If you plan to attend and need an accommodation to do so, please send requests to MDCR-INFO@michigan.gov no later than Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
