Suicide Prevention and Awareness for Employees – Wednesday, September 6: 11:00 – 11:45

Employees spend a large portion of their day at work and can get to know their coworkers well. As a result, they may see signs that could suggest risk for suicide, making the workplace an ideal location for suicide prevention strategies. In addition, employees may have concerns about friends or family members but are unsure how to respond. This important session equips employees with information about suicide risks and warning signs, as well as skills and resources available for addressing potential concerns. The valuable information provided in this session applies not only to the workplace but can be used outside of work as well.

*Suicide prevention and awareness can be a sensitive and individualized topic. As an attendee you may have personal reactions to the information being provided. You will not be required to be on camera for this event and ESP counselors will be available following the presentation for individual consultation and support.
