As a result, they may see signs that could suggest risk for suicide, making the workplace an ideal location for suicide prevention strategies. This important session equips employees with information about suicide risks and warning signs, as well as skills and resources available for addressing potential concerns. The valuable information provided in this session applies not only to the workplace but can be used outside of work as well.

Have you ever been told that you should just “set a boundary” or that your expectations “aren’t realistic”? This session provides an overview of how expectations, boundaries, and trust work together to create healthy, effective relationships in the workplace and our personal lives.
Promoting Positive Interactions in the Workplace: Wednesday, November 4, 11:00 a.m.–11:45 a.m.
During times of increased stress, we can experience tension and conflict in our interactions with others. When our patience is weakened due to stress, we are more easily frustrated, and our choice of words/body language may not be the best. This session focuses on increasing our understanding of stress, recognizing how we can be more positive in the workplace, and provides tips on increasing our communication skills.
Coping with Grief and Loss: Wednesday, December 2, 11:00 a.m.–11:45 a.m.

The loss of loved ones and friends during the pandemic has been especially difficult. This session will help participants gain a better understanding of grief, including complicated bereavement, and how it can be present in the workplace. It will also address ways to receive and provide support for grief and access additional resource.
