ADA Process & Form
Accommodations for State of Michigan Civil Service Employees and Applicants
Each state agency processes its own employees’ and applicants’ requests for reasonable accommodations. Agency accommodation coordinators process requests from or on behalf of (1) current State of Michigan employees for reasonable accommodations to perform their job duties and (2) applicants to participate in an application process because of limitations due to a disability or pregnancy, childbirth, and related medical conditions. If you are a current employee in the state’s civil service or applying for a job in the civil service and need assistance, contact the coordinator for the relevant agency in the link above.
Accommodations to Participate in or Access State Programs, Services, or Activities
Each state agency processes its own complaints from members of the public seeking reasonable accommodations to participate in or access program, service, or activity offered by the State of Michigan. Title II Coordinators process these requests, at https://www.michigan.gov/disabilityresources/ada-notice/coordinators. If you need assistance for non-employment-related purposes (e.g., attending a meeting, applying for benefits, etc.), contact the coordinator for the relevant agency in the link above.
