Visit the Federal No Surprises Act page for more information.

MSPTA-Represented Employee Benefit Update: A number of plan improvements have been made to the benefits available to members of the Michigan State Police Troopers Association (MSPTA) - represented (T01) employees. For information, review the 2022 MSPTA Benefits Bulletin.

COVID-19 Insurance Carrier Coverage Guide contains resources related to covered services provided by each State-sponsored health insurance carrier. These carriers are required to cover up to eight at-home over-the-counter (OTC) COVID-19 diagnostic tests, authorized by the FDA, every 30-days (or calendar month) for each covered member, beginning January 15, 2022 for commercial members.

At-home OTC COVID-19 diagnostic tests purchased by Medicare-eligible members are not covered by the State-sponsored insurance carriers and are not eligible for reimbursement. However, Medicare covers up to eight at-home OTC COVID-19 diagnostic tests each calendar month at no cost when enrolled in Part B, by using the red, white and blue Medicare card.

Every home in the U.S. is eligible to order four free at-home COVID-19 tests. Details can be found at
