Lance Wimberly, LMSW

Lance manages the ESP clinical team and provides oversight for employee assistance services provided to state employees and their family members. He also provides direct consultation to SOM Managers and Human Resource personnel on employee and work-related issues, develops and presents Wellness Sessions. Lance is a graduate from Michigan State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master's Degree in Social Work. He has prior experience as a mental health/substance abuse clinical therapist in both private practice and correctional settings. His areas of expertise include substance abuse, grief and loss, family challenges, self-care, trauma, and suicide assessment and prevention.
