Nakedae Cooper, LMSW

ESP Counselor

Nakedae provides assessment, short-term problem resolution, referral and follow-up services for state employees and family members. She has prior experience working as a psychiatric social worker, community work incentive counselor and mental health professional.  She has a long history of working with individuals facing work related issues due to physical and or mental disabilities.  She specializes in assisting individuals with work life balance and accommodations despite their disability and or situational stressors.  Nakedae holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Spring Arbor University, and a Master of Art Degree in Labor and Employee Relations from Wayne State University.      She completed undergraduate studies at Michigan State University and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Health Studies/Humanities.  Her areas of expertise include crisis intervention/response, mental health conditions, disability related stressors, and suicide assessment and prevention.
