Suicide Prevention
The State of Michigan's Employee Service Program (ESP) encourages you to learn more about suicide prevention and available resources. Understanding the issues surrounding suicide is the first step to prevention and helping individuals in crisis. Knowing the warning signs and risk factors for suicide and how to get assistance can help save lives.
ESP provides State of Michigan employees and their eligible family members with support, assistance and resources related to suicide prevention. State employees and their family members may contact ESP at 1-800-521-1377 to speak confidentially with a counselor, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Click the buttons below to learn more.
