Eligibility
You are eligible to enroll in the Benefits for Life plans below if you are a Defined Benefit (DB) State Employee Retirement System (SERS) Retiree or a Defined Benefit (DB) State Police Retirement System Retiree who is currently receiving a pension.

All State of Michigan SERS, SPRS, JRS, MRS, LRS, Defined Benefit, and Defined Contribution retirees may participate in the Discount Plan.
