| Civil Service regulations 5.09 and 5.10 are being issued to clarify the timing of leave balance payoffs for employees who are eligible for the incentivized retirement plan available under MCL 38.19j but instead elect a standard retirement. The new language appears at Standards 3.A.6.d and 3.D.1.g of regulations 5.09 and 5.10, respectively. n accordance with Standard C of Regulation 1.01, Issuance of Civil Service Regulations, the attached regulations are being issued with an effective date of October 17, 2010.
