SUBJECT: AMENDMENTS TO RULE 5-6, ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION: MISCELLANEOUS
 
Staff has identified two provisions of rule 5-6 that require updating. First, references in rule 5-6.3(a) to the Auditor 9-12 and Auditor Manager 13 classes should be updated to the Financial Institution Examiner 9-12 and Financial Institution Manager 13 or 14 classes to reflect reclassification of the relevant positions in the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. Second, the rate for the Lottery Sales Incentive Payments in rule 5-6.13(b) should be updated from $900 to $1,500. The commission approved these increases during the FY 2010 coordinated compensation process at its meeting on December 10, 2008, but corresponding amendments to the rules were not enacted.

The Commission will consider these proposed amendments at its next meeting, scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at the Capitol Commons Center, 400 S. Pine Street, Lansing.
