SUBJECT: DRAFT AMENDMENTS TO CIVIL SERVICE REGULATION 1.04, REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION, AND CIVIL SERVICE REGULATION 3.11, WRITTEN, ELECTRONIC, AND OTHER APPRAISAL METHOD ADMINISTRATION
 
Staff proposes modifications to Regulation 1.04, Reasonable Accommodation, and Regulation 3.11, Written, Electronic, and Other Appraisal Method Administration:
 
  1. Clarifying the method for submitting and processing accommodation requests, including non-written requests. Forms will be changed to clarify that medical statements are not required for every accommodation request.

  2. Specifying in Regulation 1.04 that Regulation 3.11 provides procedures for applicants to request accommodations in application, appraisal, and selection processes.
