SUBJECT: CIVIL SERVICE REGULATION 4.05, FREQUENCY OF REVIEW OF POSITIONS
 
Proposed changes to Regulation 4.05, Frequency of Review of Positions, were circulated for review and comment under SPDOC 14-02, dated June 11, 2014. The following changes are now reflected in the regulation:
 
  1. Clarification on when an early reclassification can be implemented by the Appointing Authority and when it should be submitted to Civil Service for review and approval.


    2.  
  2. The addition of Standard E language defining early reclassification as it was inadvertently removed during the last review of this regulation.

  3.  
The attached regulation is now being issued with an effective date of July 20, 2014.
