SUBJECT: CIVIL SERVICE REGULATION 3.06, EMPLOYMENT SANCTIONS
 
Proposed changes to Regulation 3.06, Employment Sanctions, were circulated for review and comment under SPDOC 14-03, dated June 27, 2014. The following changes are now reflected in the regulation:
 
  1. Reorganized to make it more concise and straightforward.

  2. Clarifying that sanctions may be issued after dismissal, even if challenges to the discharge are ongoing.

  3. Clarifying a process to request removal of sanctions based on changed circumstances.

  4. Clarifying the status of convictions and expunged convictions.

The attached regulation is now being issued with an effective date of July 20, 2014.
