Detroit Casino Revenues Down for February by 1.7 Percent in Comparison to the Same Month Last Year - Greektown Revenues up 8.4%

The Michigan Gaming Control Board reports today that the aggregate revenue and taxes for all three Detroit casinos for February 2010 were down by 1.7 percent in comparison to the same month last year and also were up by 3.2 percent in comparison to last month (January 2010).
Revenue for Greektown was up by 8.4%, whereas MGM Grand Detroit and MotorCity were down by 1.68%, and 8.7% respectively, compared to the same month last year. The Detroit gaming market shares for February 2010 for MGM, MotorCity, and Greektown were 42 percent, 32 percent, and 26 percent respectively.
For February 2010, gaming taxes for the three Detroit casinos were $10.50 million in comparison to $10.57 million for the same period last year.
